ADNOC to Announce New Local Manufacturing Opportunities at Forum

Abu Dhabi:ADNOC is preparing to reveal new opportunities for local manufacturing of industrial products within its extensive project pipeline at the 'Make it with ADNOC' Forum. This event, set for October 25 at the Emirates Palace, aims to drive the UAE's industrial growth and support the 'Make it in the Emirates' initiative. The forum will gather leaders from the industrial sector, including both UAE and international companies, in anticipation of the ADIPEC event.

According to Emirates News Agency, the second edition of the forum builds on the inaugural event's success in May 2026, where ADNOC announced AED200 billion ($55 billion) in planned project awards for 2026-2028. The event will bring together industry stakeholders, investors, and strategic partners to enhance domestic manufacturing and fortify industrial resilience. ADNOC plans to unveil new opportunities across its value chain, allowing companies to benefit from its project pipeline and strengthen local supply chains.

The forum will also showcase advancements in Local+, a program launched at the first forum as part of ADNOC's Industrial Resilience Programme. Local+ mandates ADNOC's engineering, procurement, and construction contractors to source products from approved UAE manufacturers when they are competitive and meet specific standards.

ADNOC's initiative aligns with its In-Country Value (ICV) programme, which has contributed more than AED307 billion ($83.7 billion) to the UAE economy since 2018. The company aims to locally manufacture AED90 billion ($24.5 billion) worth of products by 2030 and has already secured offtake agreements worth AED80 billion ($21.8 billion) for locally produced goods. These agreements have supported over 96 manufacturers, with more than 60% exporting internationally. Additionally, ADNOC's partners have invested AED4.5 billion ($1.2 billion) in new factories and advanced manufacturing capabilities in the UAE.
