Ajman: The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has entered into a strategic partnership with Dertour Group, a prominent German tourism promotion company, as part of its efforts to strengthen its global reach and enhance collaboration with international markets. The agreement was finalized during a promotional tour in Germany, attended by Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of ADTD.
According to Emirates News Agency, the agreement aims to support ADTD's strategic plans to expand into European markets and attract new visitor segments. This will involve innovative digital promotional campaigns, awareness events, and leveraging media platforms in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Additionally, the agreement includes establishing a representative office in Europe to liaise with tourism companies and private sector partners, thus increasing engagement with the target audience.
Mahmood Alhashmi emphasized that this initiative is part of ADTD's strategic efforts to broaden international cooperation and explore new avenues for tourism investment. He noted that the European market is one of the most promising for the department's strategy to diversify tourism and increase visitor numbers to the emirate.
Alhashmi stated, "Through this agreement, we seek to build qualitative partnerships with specialised and experienced institutions and facilitate the successful execution of advanced marketing initiatives that highlight Ajman's unique tourism and cultural assets, thereby elevating its appeal as a preferred destination for European tourists."
Dertour Group, a specialist in promoting tourist destinations across Europe, has an extensive network of partners in the tourism sector. This provides ADTD with greater opportunities to reach a wider audience and collaborate with market leaders.
