Abu Dhabi: The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) recently welcomed President Dr. Nataša Pirc Musar of the Republic of Slovenia to engage in a dialogue focused on enhancing the diplomatic influence of small states. The event highlighted the pivotal role these nations can play in shaping global agendas.
According to Emirates News Agency, the gathering saw the presence of notable figures such as Natalia Al Mansour, Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia to the UAE, a delegation from the Slovenian Embassy, Nickolay Mladenov, Director General of AGDA, along with AGDA’s faculty and students. President Musar delivered a lecture titled ‘Small States in the Midst of Challenges to the Contemporary World Order,’ where she elaborated on the growing influence of small states within international institutions like the United Nations.
