Ahmed Bin Mohammed Meets Lebanese PM at Arab Media Summit in Dubai


DUBAI: H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, engaged in a meeting with Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of Lebanon, during the Arab Media Summit 2025 in Dubai. The meeting underscored the enduring cooperation and historical ties between the UAE and Lebanon.



According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed extended a warm welcome to the Lebanese Prime Minister, highlighting the shared historical and fraternal bonds that unite the two nations and their peoples. The discussion was attended by H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.



H.H. Sheikh Ahmed reiterated the UAE and Dubai’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Lebanon, particularly in media. He emphasized the UAE’s technological capabilities and resources, which have positioned it as a hub for creativity and innovation. The Lebanese Prime Minister acknowledged the UAE’s positive contributions to regional and international development.



Salam commended Dubai for hosting the Arab Media Summit, praising the event’s role in fostering discussions and providing a platform for exchanging ideas on enhancing Arab media. Additionally, he expressed gratitude for the UAE’s supportive stance towards Lebanon, conveying wishes for further progress and prosperity for the UAE and its leadership.



The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohamed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and UAE Media Council, and Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, President of the Dubai Press Club, and Chairperson of the Organising Committee of the Arab Media Summit.
