Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Dubai Airshow, chaired the first meeting of the Supreme Committee responsible for organizing the Dubai Airshow 2025.
According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting focused on the latest updates and preparations for the 19th edition of the Airshow, scheduled for 17 to 21 November 2025. H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed emphasized that the Dubai Airshow is a strategic platform that showcases the UAE's leadership in aviation and aerospace and highlights the country's progress in these sectors.
Sheikh Ahmed remarked that with the support of leadership and strategic partners, hosting the global event strengthens Dubai's status as a hub for innovation and future technologies. He expressed pride in the accomplishments of the previous edition and anticipated the upcoming event to mark a new milestone reflecting future aspirations.
The 2023 Dubai Airshow saw over $101 billion in announced deals, featured more than 1,400 exhibitors from 148 countries, and attracted over 135,000 visitors, reinforcing its place as a major global aviation event.
During the meeting, key organisational updates were reviewed. Sheikh Ahmed commended the progress in ongoing preparations and expressed gratitude to all participating entities for their efforts in maintaining the Dubai Airshow's reputation as a leading global aviation event.
