Speaker of the Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, stressed the importance of the role of the Office of Financial Supervision in combating administrative and financial corruption and preserving public money.
The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement: “Al-Halbousi met today with the new head of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau, Ammar Sobhi Khalaf, in the presence of the heads of the parliamentary integrity and finance committees, to discuss a number of issues related to the work of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau and its oversight activities during the coming period.
Al-Halbousi stressed, during the meeting, the importance of the role of the Financial Supervision Bureau in combating administrative and financial corruption and preserving public money, and the need to make more efforts in this regard, referring to the support of the House of Representatives to the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau in order to achieve its goals and perform its tasks.
