The Prime Minister, Muhammad Al-Sudani, received today, Saturday, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Iraq, Elbrus Kotrashev.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries, and discussed the date of accepting the official invitation extended to Al-Sudani to visit the Russian Federation.
The meeting witnessed reference to Iraq’s pivotal role in the region, and its efforts in converging points of view, in a way that enhances the security and stability of the region, and pushes the wheel of development forward.
The Prime Minister affirmed Iraq’s keenness and support for all peaceful settlements to the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and ending its repercussions in all its forms.
