Ajman: H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, chaired the Executive Council's meeting for May 2026, where the 'Ajman Artificial Intelligence Programme' was launched. This initiative represents a strategic move reflecting the Ajman Government's commitment to adopting future technologies and accelerating smart government transformation, aligning with the UAE's national directions and Ajman Vision 2030, known as 'Ajman for People.'
According to Emirates News Agency, H.H. Sheikh Ammar emphasized that the Ajman Government's approach to artificial intelligence is driven by a vision that prioritizes people, viewing technology as a means to enhance quality of life, improve government decision-making efficiency, speed up services, and create a more agile and future-ready government.
During the launch, H.H. Sheikh Ammar stated that in line with the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and following the UAE's national direction towards artificial intelligence, Ajman Government is launching its AI programme to benefit both government and society.
He further explained that people will always be the priority, with artificial intelligence serving as a tool to improve decision-making, enhance services, and elevate the quality of life, all within a governance framework that maintains trust, responsibility, and data security, while reinforcing the UAE's leadership in building the government of the future.
H.H. Sheikh Ammar also announced the appointment of Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi to lead the Ajman Artificial Intelligence Programme, responsible for overseeing its implementation and monitoring its impact on community services.
He mentioned that Ajman Government intends to launch 100 AI initiatives covering the eight pillars of Ajman Vision 2030, aiming to develop government services, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the quality of life across the emirate.
In his opening remarks, H.H. Sheikh Ammar highlighted that the UAE, under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has shown resilience in addressing challenges and developments, establishing a global model in preparedness, rapid response, and sustainable government operations.
He also commended the solidarity and responsibility shown by citizens and residents throughout the country, reflecting the strength and cohesion of the national fabric. In this context, the Council discussed various files related to enhancing government readiness and ensuring business continuity.
