Lazaro, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, focusing on the Philippines' strategic priorities during its Chairship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in 2026. The theme of the session was 'Navigating Our Future, Together.'
According to Emirates News Agency, the session delved into strengthening regional cooperation, enhancing mechanisms for strategic coordination among ASEAN Member States, and identifying opportunities for collaborative engagement. The goal is to support shared regional objectives and advance multilateral cooperation.
