SHARJAH: Whether you’re captivated by the intricacies of crafting a crime thriller or eager to master the art of suspense and storytelling, the 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2024), taking place from 6th to 17th November at Expo Centre Sharjah, is introducing exclusive pre-booked, specialised workshops in both Arabic and English led by prominent Arab and international authors who have left their mark on the global literary stage.
Aspiring writers will dive deep into the craft of creative writing, exploring everything from character development and gripping dialogue to the complexities of plot twists that keep readers on the edge of their seats, with professional guidance from acclaimed authors such as Isabella Maldonado, Tess Gerritsen, Denise Larsen, Canadian poet Rupi Kaur, as well as Egyptian authors Ahmed Mourad and Ahmed Abdel Majeed. The Arabic-language workshops will span three days each, while the English sessions will last one day.
