Arab League Secretary General Meets with Speaker of Bahraini Council of Representatives

Cairo: Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit met here today, at the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, with Bahraini Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam to discuss the current Arab situation with the approaching Arab summit to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in mid-May.Aboul Gheit said that the Arab Summit is of great importance, especially now that the region is facing unprecedented challenges at different levels, notably the continued Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip, and stressed that the summit is important to arrive at a unified Arab position.Source: Saudi Press Agency
