Civil Defense Acting Director General Heads Interior Ministry Delegation at GCC Civil Defense Meeting

Riyadh: Civil Defense Acting Director General Major General Dr. Hammoud bin Suleiman Al-Faraj has headed the Ministry of Interior delegation at the 33rd annual meeting of Civil Defense chiefs at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in Riyadh, chaired this year by the State of Qatar.During the meeting, participants discussed the use of special fire brigades in GCC member states, reviewed the latest equipment and technologies for handling high-rise building fires, and addressed the risks associated with climate change.Additionally, the meeting emphasized the importance of media cooperation in highlighting civil defense efforts and enhancing public perception in the Gulf countries.Source: Saudi Press Agency
