Sana 'a concluded on Tuesday the First Human Rights Dialogue Conference "Yemen.. Perspectives and Challenges ", organized by the Ministry of Human Rights under the slogan" Yemen for All ".
The two-day conference aims to characterize and prioritize the humanitarian and human rights context of the official and international agendas linked to the human suffering caused by the United States-Saudi aggression and blockade.
The Conference discussed four main themes, namely the official role in addressing aggression against the Yemeni people's right to live and the complicity of international space for inhumane interests.
In conclusion, the member of the Supreme Political Council, Ahmed Al-Ruhavi, stressed the importance of this dialogue conference on human rights to discuss the abuses suffered by the Republic and its people since 25 March 2015.
He pointed out that human rights are a set of principles that preserve human dignity and prevent attacks on him and his rights, regardless of his origin, gender or language.
Al-Rahwi stated that the United Nations and the international community apply double standards about what is happening in the world, including, for example, dealings with what is happening in Ukraine and the crimes and violations committed by the aggression coalition against Yemen and Yemenis.
He deplored the negative treatment of crimes and violations committed by the Coalition of Aggression in Yemen by the United Nations, international organizations and the international community as a whole.
For his part, Minister of Human Rights Ali Al-Dailami stressed the importance of unifying and integrating official and popular efforts at home and abroad to adopt the follow-up to the file of crimes of aggression in international forums and to prosecute the perpetrators of crimes in national and international courts.
He pointed out that the ministry, during the coming period, has a broad work program for coordination between the Salvation Government and civil society organizations.
The minister emphasized the interest of the revolutionary leadership and the Supreme Political Council in the humanitarian reality, focusing mainly on humanitarian demands, and linking the rest of the files to the settlement of this file.
The conference came out with a number of recommendations, which confirmed that the humanitarian file is one of the most important files and occupies a top priority in improving the conditions of the Yemeni people.
