Creators HQ and Meta Facilitate Unique Visit to Rashid Centre for People of Determination

Dubai: As part of their joint Creators for Purpose programme, which was launched earlier this year, Creators HQ, the first content creator hub in the UAE and the Middle East, and Meta organised a visit of 30 content creators, with a combined following of over 100 million, to the Rashid Centre for People of Determination.

According to Emirates News Agency, the visit also responds to the recently announced 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign. This initiative was launched by the 1 Billion Followers Summit and renowned content creator MrBeast, with support from Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and the Varkey Foundation. The gathering included prominent figures like Sarah Abdulla, Narin Amara, Cedra Amara, and Yusra Mardini, among others.

Content creator Sarah Abdulla is producing a documentary film chronicling the visit to the Rashid Centre. The film aims to capture the humanitarian experience and spread a message of positivity by showcasing the children’s talents and achievements. It also highlights the Rashid Centre’s role in building self-confidence among children and promoting their integration into society.

“Our role as content creators and influencers is to share meaningful content that creates a positive impact in our communities. This initiative demonstrates the powerful influence we have to inspire society and spread happiness and hope among these children,” Abdulla stated. She emphasized the duty of content creators to be a voice for children of determination.

The creators toured the centre, engaging with its programmes and meeting staff and volunteers. They participated in educational and recreational activities, gaining insights into the children’s challenges and showcasing their potential. This visit underscored the impact of the Creators for Purpose programme and the strategic partnership between Creators HQ and Meta, reflecting the UAE’s role in digital media and the creator economy.

The visit also highlights the influence of the 1 Billion Acts of Kindness campaign, demonstrating how social impact content can drive real-world positive change. The campaign, launched on 7th November 2025 by MrBeast, encourages content creators to build acts of kindness across their communities. Submissions for the campaign are open until 1st December 2025, with top creators to be revealed at the 1 Billion Followers Summit in January 2026.
