Dubai:The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts are set to participate in the Dubai FinTech Summit 2026, scheduled for November 2-3 at Madinat Jumeirah. The Courts aim to emphasize their role in enhancing business confidence and providing legal certainty, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s goals to bolster Dubai’s status as a leading global business and investment hub.
According to Emirates News Agency, DIFC Courts will operate a dedicated exhibition stand at the summit, engaging with financial institutions, fintech companies, investors, legal professionals, and other industry stakeholders. The objective is to raise awareness about their dispute resolution services and legal frameworks available to businesses and individuals operating internationally.
The participation will spotlight the Courts’ Opt-In Jurisdiction, which allows global parties to choose DIFC Courts for resolving commercial disputes without the need for a UAE connection. Additionally, the Digital Economy Court, designed to handle disputes from emerging technologies, along with the DIFC Courts Wills Service and Digital Assets Will, will be showcased.
Justice Omar Al Mheiri, Director of DIFC Courts, stated that as financial services and emerging technologies continue to transform global commerce, access to reliable dispute resolution becomes crucial. He highlighted the importance of DIFC Courts in providing legal certainty, which underpins business confidence, and their ongoing development of services to meet the evolving needs of businesses and individuals. The summit offers a platform to enhance engagement with the financial and technology sectors and promote awareness of their available services.
