Dubai: Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers, has successfully hosted “The Purpose Forum” to boost corporate commitment to social responsibility, enhance community support initiatives, and expand the positive impact of the private sector by highlighting best practices and sharing experiences.
According to Emirates News Agency, the forum was an integral part of the Sustainability 365 initiative organized by the chamber’s Centre for Responsible Business, spanning from 6th to 30th October. The event saw participation from 124 individuals representing companies across various sectors.
The forum served as a platform for in-depth discussions, showcasing the chamber’s ongoing efforts to increase corporate engagement through impactful programs offered by its Centre for Responsible Business (CRB). Attendees gained valuable insights from a series of talks and a panel discussion featuring speakers from notable organizations like DP World Foundation, Furjan Dubai, Emirates Nature-WWF, and the Dubai Community Contributions Establishment (Jood).
Participants delved into topics such as health, culture, and global philanthropy, reinforcing the significance of strategic and structured giving as a tool for creating positive social impact. The sessions also highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration to broaden the scope of purpose-driven initiatives on a global scale, while emphasizing the need for inclusive local approaches that foster cohesive communities.
