Dubai:In a recent session of the 'New Global Narrative' Majlis, discussions were centered on how Dubai can leverage its established global trust into an economic asset, enhancing its attractiveness for investment, business, and talent. The event, attended by H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, highlighted the role of trust in shaping investment and market trends.

She noted that despite global uncertainties, Dubai's decisive actions and robust infrastructure facilitated a swift recovery and the successful hosting of Expo 2020 Dubai.

Al Marri also highlighted the emirate's continued appeal, citing the 19.59 million international visitors and 1,253 new foreign direct investment projects attracted in 2025. She credited this success to the foundational trust in Dubai as a destination, driven by its reliable and transparent experiences.

He emphasized the importance of consistent experiences in maintaining trust and enhancing global competitiveness. Haigh also noted that a city's reputation is shaped by the collective experiences of its services and institutions, underscoring the role of leadership in sustaining this reputation.
