According to Emirates News Agency, the delivery sector in Dubai has effectively catered to a rapidly growing demand from consumers and businesses, maintaining efficiency and sustainability despite global challenges. This success is attributed to proactive government support, world-class logistics infrastructure, and strong public-private sector coordination. Business leaders note that Dubai's agile regulations, advanced technology, and strategic investments create an enabling environment for the delivery sector to thrive.
Mehreen Inderyas, Chairwoman of the Dubai Delivery Business Group, emphasized Dubai's resilience, citing diversified supply chains, strategic geographic location, and forward-thinking policies as foundational elements. Inderyas noted that Dubai's regulatory framework and public-private collaboration have facilitated rapid responses to external disruptions, while advanced digital capabilities ensure continuity and efficiency across last-mile operations.
Shahid Nadeem, Managing Director of Zone Delivery Services, explained that the emirate's resilience is a result of deliberate long-term investment and tech-enablement.
