Cairo: The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of Egypt announced that several oil and gas companies operating in the country have successfully drilled a number of wells in their concession areas. These new discoveries are located in the Western Desert, Eastern Desert, and the Nile Delta, and include five new exploratory wells.
According to Emirates News Agency, the new wells are projected to significantly boost Egypt’s energy output. The ministry’s statement highlighted that these wells are anticipated to contribute approximately 47 million cubic feet of natural gas and about 4,300 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil and condensates to the nation’s daily production.
