Kuwait City: His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait, welcomed Humaid Obaid Abushibs, the President of the UAE Accountability Authority (UAEAA). This meeting was part of a delegation visit from the UAEAA to Kuwait, initiated by an invitation from the State Audit Bureau, aiming to enhance bilateral relations and exchange expertise in oversight fields.
According to Emirates News Agency, the delegation was also received by H.H. Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait. The meeting included the presence of Esam Salem Al-Roumi, Chief of the State Audit Bureau, and several senior Kuwaiti officials.
During the visit, the Kuwaiti State Audit Bureau provided a visual presentation on its establishment, the entities it oversees, and the monitoring mechanisms and procedures it uses.
The visit further included a tour of the Kuwait Anti-Corruption Authority, known as Nazaha, where the UAE delegation was informed about its primary functions and significant
achievements in combating corruption.
