Emirates Aviation University Celebrates 35th Graduation Ceremony Honouring 154 Graduates

Dubai: Emirates Aviation University (EAU) marked a significant milestone with its 35th graduation ceremony, celebrating the achievements of 154 graduates who are set to influence the future of the global aviation industry. H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group and Chancellor of the EAU, personally awarded the graduates their certificates, underscoring the university's commitment to shaping the workforce of tomorrow.

According to Emirates News Agency, since its inception in 1991, EAU has seen over 26,000 students graduate, contributing significantly to both local and global aviation sectors. The event was graced by the presence of Emirates Group executives, the graduates, their families, and the university's faculty, reflecting the community's support for the institution's mission.

Sheikh Ahmed highlighted the university's role in nation-building and its contributions to the aviation sector, emphasizing the unwavering commitment of Emirates Group to support EAU through leadership and investment. He extended his congratulations to the graduates, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

This year's graduates represented over 25 nationalities and pursued a variety of degrees in disciplines such as aviation management, safety, air transport management, and engineering. Professor Ahmad Al Ali, Vice-Chancellor of EAU, remarked on the graduates entering the aviation world during a transformative period, praising their potential to drive industry innovation and sustainability.

The graduating cohort comprised 24 postgraduate and 130 undergraduate students, including those sponsored by Emirates. The university recognized 19 students for exemplary performance across disciplines. Furthermore, over 650 undergraduates participated in the Emirates Group Internship Programme, gaining valuable industry experience and academic credits.
