Manama: Emirates has concluded 2025 with a remarkable achievement, securing five new global accolades at the 32nd World Travel Awards held in Bahrain. These latest awards add to an impressive tally of over 20 honors the airline has received this year, further cementing its status as a leader in the aviation industry.
According to Emirates News Agency, the recent titles highlight Emirates' brand leadership, its inflight entertainment system known as ice, as well as its First Class experience and lounges. Additionally, Emirates Skywards has been recognized as the World's Leading Airline Rewards Programme 2025. The new awards conferred upon Emirates include World's Leading Airline Brand 2025, World's Leading Airline Inflight Entertainment 2025, World's Leading Airline Rewards Programme 2025, World's Leading Airline - First Class 2025, and World's Leading Airline Lounge - First Class 2025, specifically for the Emirates First Class Lounge at Emirates Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport.
This recognition comes on the heels of a successful year for the airline. In November, Emirates was named Best Airline in the World for the eighth consecutive year at the ULTRAs travel awards, a decision made by Ultratravel's network of 1.2 million travelers. The airline also garnered awards for Best Premium Economy Class and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation, presented to Tim Clark. Furthermore, Aviation Business Middle East honored Emirates with the titles of Best First Class of the Year and Airline of the Year.
Emirates' accolades extend to Best International Airline, Best International First Class, and Best International Airline Lounge from the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards 2025, as well as Best Long-Haul Airline at The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards 2025. Tim Clark was also recognized with the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Wings Club Foundation.
In September, Emirates secured two significant awards at the APEX/IFSA Global EXPO in Long Beach, winning the 2026 APEX Best Global Entertainment Award for its ice system and a 2026 APEX World Class award for overall customer experience and brand excellence.
Earlier in the year, Emirates was awarded Best Long-Haul Airline at The Telegraph Travel Awards. It was also named 2025's Most Recommended Global Brand by YouGov and received multiple honors at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards, including Best Airline Worldwide for the 12th consecutive year, Best First Class, Best Premium Economy Class, and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East.
