The National Research and Development Center for Sustainable Agriculture (Estidamah) has conducted a specialized workshop in the Jazan region, focusing on sustainable agricultural techniques for mango cultivation amidst changing climate conditions.The aim was to transfer knowledge and promote sustainable agricultural practices, focusing on the impact of prolonged rainfall on mango trees and methods to stimulate flowering, with practical demonstrations held in the center's fields.Experts and farmers exchanged ideas on the best sustainable agricultural practices to address climate challenges faced when cultivating mango.The workshop also aimed to introduce modern cultivation techniques for mango and other tropical fruit trees, to increase productivity and quality under the changing climate conditions.Source: Saudi Press Agency
