According to Emirates News Agency, the Middle East Cosmetics Show is positioned as a flagship event organised by the Centre, serving as a platform to showcase the latest products, trends, and innovations in the beauty and personal care market across the UAE and the MENA region. The announcement was made during an official launch ceremony hosted on Thursday at the Expo Centre Sharjah.

The pre-launch event was attended by prominent figures such as Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Expo Centre Sharjah; Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah; and Lee Beomchan, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Dubai. The event also saw participation from Sultan Shattaf, Commercial Director of Expo Centre Sharjah, several officials from the Sharjah Chamber and Expo Sharjah, a group of beauty professionals and enthusiasts, and media representatives.

The exhibition aims to offer beauty professionals and stakeholders in the global cosmetics production and distribution industries an opportunity to engage with the expanding Gulf and Middle Eastern markets. It facilitates direct interaction with consumers and visitors interested in the latest beauty trends and products while creating networking opportunities with industry specialists and key players, including distributors, retailers, salon and spa owners, and e-commerce companies.

Al Owais remarked that the Sharjah Chamber's support for the inaugural edition aligns with a strategic vision to attract specialised exhibitions that contribute to economic diversification and sustainable development in the emirate.
