Jazan, A delegation of experts from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and representatives of the Reef program, an electronic platform launched by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) to improve the agricultural sector, visited yesterday the ministry’s branch in the Jazan Region to supervise the installation of a solar figs drying device, the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia.
Director of MEWA branch in Jazan Region Mohammed Al-Atif expressed appreciation for the Saudi leadership’s unlimited support for the agricultural sector and farmers that it equips with the tools needed to achieve quality agricultural production, as part of the Saudi Vision 2030.
