UMM AL QAIWAIN: H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, has said that Flag Day is a cherished national occasion held dear to every Emirati heart and 'an exceptional day where we express our pride and appreciation for the achievements our nation has made across various sectors, and our determination to continue the journey of development, prosperity, security, and stability.'According to Emirates News Agency, Sheikh Saud highlighted that the decision by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to designate the 3rd of November each year as a national occasion, enables the people of the UAE to renew their deep sense of belonging and loyalty to the country. It also helps to strengthen the bonds of national unity and elevate the UAE's stature, symbolised by the flag, which represents the nation's achievements over the decades and its future aspirations.The Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain emphasised that ra ising the UAE flag instills a profound love for the homeland in the hearts of its citizens and fosters a strong sense of loyalty and devotion to the country and its leadership.
