FNC Speaker Receives President of Mauritania’s National Assembly.

Abu Dhabi: Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), received the President of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Bamba Ould Meguet, and his accompanying parliamentary delegation, who is visiting the UAE, at the Council's headquarters in Abu Dhabi.According to Emirates News Agency, during the meeting, they discussed parliamentary friendship, cooperation, and coordination. They aimed to align positions and visions on shared interests, exchange support in international forums, and work together on mutual nominations and knowledge sharing.Both sides emphasised the importance of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening bilateral ties, addressing national issues, and cooperating on regional and international matters.
