The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in the strongest terms the Zionist entity aggression against the city and camp of Jenin, which resulted in the killing and injury of dozens of the Palestinian people, in flagrant violation of all international norms, covenants and laws.
The ministry confirmed in the statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the Zionist escalation will have dire consequences and will negatively affect security and stability in the region.
The ministry affirmed that the applied international silence and the rush of some Arab regimes to normalize relations with the Zionist entity represented a green light for its continuation in committing its terrorist crimes against the Palestinian people.
The statement called on the international community, led by the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities in protecting the Palestinian people and putting an end to the Zionist crimes that undermine security and stability in the region and the world.
The statement renewed the solidarity of the Republic of Yemen, leadership and people, with the Palestinian people, standing fully with their natural and legitimate right to self-defense, and taking what the Palestinians see as deterrent measures required to stop Zionist arrogance, end the abhorrent occupation, and establish an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
