Gama Private and Business Aviation Centre at Sharjah Airport Nears Completion


Sharjah: The Sharjah Airport Authority and Gama Aviation have announced that the construction of the new Gama Aviation facility at Sharjah International Airport is 95% complete. This development is a strategic move to enhance the Emirate’s competitive position in the private and business aviation sector, strengthening its presence on the regional and global aviation map.



According to Emirates News Agency, the centre is designed as a Fixed Base Operator (FBO) for private and business aircraft. It aims to deliver a fully integrated operational ecosystem that enhances the private aviation experience. The facility offers a specialized environment and comprehensive services tailored to the needs of operators, aligning with the sector’s ongoing growth.



Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority, expressed that the collaboration with Gama Aviation highlights the Authority’s commitment to addressing the increasing aspirations of private and business aviation operators. It provides a dedicated facility that boosts service efficiency and quality, reflecting a shared vision to establish Sharjah as a leading hub for private aviation in the region.



Tom Murphy, Managing Director of FBO Services at Gama Aviation, noted that the Private and Business Aviation Centre represents a significant advancement in their partnership with Sharjah Airport Authority. It is supported by world-class infrastructure and integrated services designed to meet the evolving needs of this expanding sector.
