GCC and Italy Ink MoU to Enhance Cooperation Frameworks

Rome: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), announced that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed today between the GCC General Secretariat and the Republic of Italy is set to strengthen cooperation and coordination frameworks. This agreement aims to expand partnership areas across various sectors of mutual interest, supporting political dialogue, exchanging expertise, and developing joint action mechanisms.

According to Emirates News Agency, these comments were made during the signing ceremony of the MoU between the GCC Secretary General and Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, held in Rome. Albudaiwi emphasized the continuous development of relations between the GCC member states and Italy, driven by their close ties and shared interests. He highlighted both parties' commitment to enhancing these connections to serve common interests and promote security, stability, and development.

The two parties expressed their hope that the MoU will open new avenues for cooperation and strengthen communication and coordination, enabling them to achieve their shared goals of further collaboration and prosperity.
