According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Mr. Jamal Jamea Al Musharakh, the UAE’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, articulated this position during an emergency discussion session. The session was convened to address the serious developments stemming from the Israeli attack on Qatar during the 60th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The statement from the UAE characterized the Israeli aggression as a flagrant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, a member state of the United Nations, and described it as a dangerous escalation threatening regional peace and stability. It further asserted that the attack constitutes a clear breach of international law and the United Nations Charter, alongside being a grave infringement of fundamental human rights principles.
