Last week, Germany delivered two Wisent 1 minesweepers, three Vector reconnaissance marches, and nine armored vehicles to the border guards, bringing the value of its aid to Kiev to 17 billion euros.
Germany also sent to Ukraine 5 SurveilSPIRE reconnaissance systems, 11 minesweepers mounted on T-72 tanks, and 5 mobile communications antenna towers.
This new aid package, which includes 25 Leopard 1 tanks and 40 Marder armored vehicles, was announced during the NATO summit in Vilnius recently.
The value of the new package is 700 million euros, and the total military, financial and humanitarian aid to Ukraine from Germany has reached about 17 billion euros since February 2022.
