Abu dhabi: Gold prices edged higher on Thursday, with spot gold rising 0.3 percent to $4,076.29 per ounce as of 02:45 GMT, after climbing as much as 2 percent on Wednesday. US gold futures for August delivery gained 1 percent to $4,073.60.
According to Emirates News Agency, among other precious metals, spot silver gained 0.4 percent to $57.86 per ounce, while palladium rose 1.5 percent to $1,264.49. Platinum, however, experienced a decline, falling 0.6 percent to $1,602.34.
