Dubai: Gold slid over 1 percent on Monday, with spot gold dropping 1.5 percent to $4,059.11 an ounce by 0356 GMT. US gold futures for August delivery were down 1.1 percent at $4,067.10.
According to Emirates News Agency, the decline wasn't limited to gold. Spot silver saw a decrease of 2.9 percent, settling at $58.14 per ounce. Additionally, platinum experienced a downturn of 1.8 percent, valued at $1,598.48, while palladium decreased by 2.3 percent to $1,247.27.
