Abu dhabi: A private helicopter crashed in a mountainous area of Arizona, resulting in the death of all four individuals on board, as reported by local officials. The incident occurred around 11 am near Telegraph Canyon, approximately 64 miles east of Phoenix, according to information released by the Pinal County Sheriff's Office on the social platform X.
According to Emirates News Agency, the crash may have been triggered when the helicopter collided with a 'recreational slackline' that was strung across the mountains and extended for more than half a mile. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Flights in the vicinity were temporarily restricted due to safety concerns, as stated by the sheriff's office. The authorities are working to ensure the safety of the area while the investigation continues.
