Al-karama: Israeli occupation authorities prevented an international delegation of education unions, representing 15 countries, from entering Palestine via the al-Karama/King Hussein Bridge border crossing on Friday. The delegation was detained for several hours and then sent back, in a move seen as an attempt to restrict international solidarity with the Palestinian people and its institutions.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the delegation had been invited by the General Union of Palestinian Teachers to engage in educational exchange and show support for Palestinian educational institutions. This incident highlights ongoing restrictions faced by international groups attempting to enter the region in support of Palestinian causes. The denial of entry to the delegation has sparked concerns over the limitations placed on international efforts to engage with Palestinian communities and support their educational endeavors.
