Abu dhabi: Italy's Jonathan Milan of Lidl-Trek emerged victorious in stage 4 of the 8th edition of the UAE Tour Presented by AD Ports Group. The stage, known as the Palms Sports Stage, concluded with Milan narrowly edging out Ethan Vernon from NSN Cycling Team and his own brother, Matteo Milan, representing Groupama-FDJ United.

According to Emirates News Agency, Antonio Tiberi continues to hold onto the coveted Red Jersey, maintaining his lead in the General Classification. Tiberi, racing for Bahrain Victorious, remains at the top, closely followed by Isaac Del Toro of UAE Team Emirates XRG, who trails by 21 seconds, and Harold Tejada of XDS Astana Team, who is one minute behind.

The provisional results of the stage showed Jonathan Milan finishing the 182km race in 4 hours, 3 minutes, and 6 seconds, with an average speed of 44.920 km/h. Both Ethan Vernon and Matteo Milan crossed the finish line with the same time as the stage winner.

In the overall standings, Tiberi's exceptional performance keeps him in the Red Jersey, sponsored by AD Ports Group. Isaac Del Toro leads the Points Classification in the Green Jersey, sponsored by Mubadala. Tiberi also holds the White Jersey for Best Young Rider, sponsored by Burjeel Holdings, while Silvan Dillier of Alpecin-Premier Tech leads the Intermediate Sprint Classification in the Black Jersey, sponsored by ALDAR.

Jonathan Milan, speaking moments after his triumph, expressed his initial doubts about the sprint finish due to a strong breakaway group. He credited his teammates for their relentless pursuit, allowing him to secure the win. Milan also shared his joy in competing alongside his brother Matteo for the first time, acknowledging the possibility of being beaten by him in future races.
