The Japanese Coast Guard announced today, Tuesday, that North Korea had fired two ballistic missiles towards the sea.

The Japanese NHK channel reported, quoting the Japanese Coast Guard, that "North Korea today apparently launched two ballistic missiles."

And last Wednesday, the North Korean Central News Agency confirmed that Pyongyang had test-fired a new missile of the type "Hwasong-18".

The Agency added that the maximum height of the missile was 6,648.4 km (4,131 miles), and it flew a distance of 1,001.2 km for 74 minutes.
