Abu Dhabi: Abdullah Sultan bin Awad Al Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, has met with Jean-Francois Bohnert, Head of the National Financial Prosecutor’s Office of France, and his delegation to explore ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation in legal and judicial matters. The meeting at the Ministry of Justice’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi focused on enhancing coordination between the two countries in combating money laundering, corruption, and other transnational crimes.
According to Emirates News Agency, Al Nuaimi and Bohnert expressed their commitment to deepening the strategic partnership between the UAE and France. The discussions highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing financial crimes that have global repercussions. Both officials emphasized the need for a robust framework to facilitate information exchange and joint initiatives to tackle criminal activities effectively.
