The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (KSrelief) Masam Project, focused on mine clearance in Yemen, successfully cleared 1,390 mines across various regions during the fourth week of July 2024. This includes 5 anti-personnel mines, 47 anti-tank mines, 1,337 unexploded ordnances, and 1 explosive device.This brings the total number of landmines cleared in July to 4,230, raising the total number of mines removed since the beginning of the Masam Project to 453,298. These landmines were indiscriminately planted across various regions of Yemen, aiming to claim more innocent victims, including children, women, and the elderly.Source: Saudi Press Agency
