Kuwait Condemns Continued Iranian Attacks

Abu dhabi: The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry on Monday issued a strong condemnation of the ongoing Iranian aggression against Kuwait, highlighting the latest incident which occurred earlier in the day.

According to Emirates News Agency, the ministry's press release, circulated by the Kuwait News Agency, described the aggression as a blatant violation of Kuwait's sovereignty. It emphasized that the Iranian actions pose a direct threat to the security and stability of Kuwait, endangering the safety of its citizens and residents. The ministry further declared that these acts represent a serious breach of international law, the United Nations Charter, and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817.

The statement stressed that the continuation of such aggressions, amidst ongoing regional and international efforts to ensure calm, systematically undermines de-escalation efforts and the international community's will to support peace initiatives. The Kuwaiti government affirmed its unwavering commitment to its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, asserting that these elements are non-negotiable. It reiterated Kuwait's right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and ensure the security and stability of its nation.
