Kuwait City: The State of Kuwait has expressed strong condemnation of the attack on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar by Iran's Revolutionary Guard. This act was described as a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and international law, as well as a threat to regional peace and stability.
According to Emirates News Agency, the Kuwait Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through a statement via the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), emphasized Kuwait's solidarity with Qatar. The statement affirmed full support for any measures Qatar might undertake to safeguard its sovereignty and security, including the right to respond proportionally to the aggression.
The ministry also conveyed Kuwait's preparedness to provide support to Qatar by mobilizing its resources, emphasizing that Qatar's security is closely linked to Kuwait's own. The ministry praised the effectiveness of Qatari air defense systems in intercepting the attack.
Kuwait reiterated its call for an end to military operations in the region, which are exacerbated by Israeli offensives. The statement underlined the importance of intensified regional and international coordination to resolve conflicts through diplomatic channels.
