Kuwait Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini discussed on Wednesday the agency’s efforts and humanitarian projects to alleviate the suffering of Palestinian refugees around the world.
During the meeting, which took place on the margin of the 160th session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level in Cairo, the two sides discussed the contributions of the State of Kuwait in support of the agency’s humanitarian projects for the relief of Palestinian refugees in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Turkiye.
