Kuwait city: Kuwait's armed forces intercepted three ballistic missiles, one cruise missile, and 10 hostile drones detected in the country's airspace early Thursday, the Ministry of Defence confirmed.
According to Emirates News Agency, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) quoted the Ministry Spokesperson Colonel Saud Al-Atwan, who stated that the threats were successfully intercepted and neutralised. The successful operation prevented potential harm to the population and infrastructure.
Al-Atwan reported that falling debris from the intercepted threats caused material damage at several locations. Additionally, one person suffered injuries due to the incident. The injured individual is currently receiving medical treatment and is in stable condition.
