Kuwait Thwarts Missile Barrage, Iranian Drone Strikes

Kuwait city: The State of Kuwait announced that the Kuwait Armed Forces intercepted and destroyed 12 drones and 14 missiles fired from Iran. The incident took place on Friday, drawing significant attention to the region's security.

According to Emirates News Agency, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported that army spokesperson Colonel Saud Al-Atwan provided details on the situation. He stated that two of the missiles crashed outside the "threat zone." The drones targeted northern and central Kuwait, while the missiles were aimed at southern areas, resulting in only material damage.

Colonel Al-Atwan further clarified that the explosions heard in different parts of the nation were a result of the interception operation carried out by the armed forces. The swift response by the military highlights Kuwait's defense capabilities amid regional tensions.
