A light earthquake measuring 2.9 on the Richter scale has struck northwest of Bayda at 8:27 PM.The National Center for Earthquake and Volcano Monitoring and Studies in Dhamar reported that the earthquake's epicenter was located at coordinates 14.299 latitude and 45.336 longitude, approximately 40 km from Bayda province.Eng. Mohammed al Houthi, head of the center, stated that the earthquake is part of the minor seismic activity occasionally experienced in Yemen.The center continues to monitor seismic activities and developments in the region.Source: Yemen News Agency
