Macron accepts French gov’t resignation

French presidency announced Tuesday that President Emmanuel Macron accepted the resignation of the government and asked ministers to stay on in a caretaker capacity until a new cabinet is appointed. President Macron accepted" the resignation of Prime Minister Gabriel Attal and other ministers on Tuesday," the presidency said in a statement.It added that Attal and other government members are "to handle current affairs until a new government is being appointed".
