Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, stressed the importance of supporting and caring for the families of the martyrs, and eliminating the roots and sources of extremist ideology.
Al-Mandalawi said in a tweet to him on Twitter: "Today we remember with pride the sixth anniversary of the liberation of the dear city of Mosul, and the clearance of its soil from the filth of terrorism, and we highly appreciate the courageous position of the supreme religious authority in announcing the fatwa of competent jihad, and the great sacrifices made by the various types of our heroic security forces for this great victory.
He stressed the importance of supporting and caring for the families of the martyrs, eliminating the roots and sources of extremist ideology, and developing strategic plans to build the country and its prosperity and the welfare of its people.
