Mansour bin Zayed Opens 40th Edition of ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi: Under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, inaugurated the 40th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC). The event, taking place at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi, will run until 7th November.According to Emirates News Agency, the opening ceremony was attended by esteemed dignitaries including H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representing the King of Bahrain. The ceremony featured the national anthem and a preview video of ADIPEC 2024.Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC CEO, delivered the keynote speech, followed by a discussion session with energy ministers worldwide. Hosted by ADNOC Group, ADIPEC is the world's largest energy event, drawing over 200,000 vis itors. This year's theme is 'Connecting Minds. Transforming Energy.'In his address, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the UAE's dedication to technological innovation in the energy sector. He stressed the importance of forming strategic partnerships to integrate artificial intelligence solutions and foster a global shift towards clean energy.This edition of ADIPEC introduces new features such as the Digitalisation and Technology Conference, focusing on the role of next-generation technologies in enhancing efficiency and reducing emissions. It also includes new exhibitions by companies specializing in advanced technologies and artificial intelligence.The opening ceremony was graced by several high-profile attendees, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan, and various UAE ministers and officials. The 16-hall exhibition hosts over 2,200 exhibitors, including 54 national and international oil companies and 30 country pavilions.ADI PEC brings together leading oil companies, engineering firms, and specialized industrial zones dedicated to low carbon, digital transformation, maritime, logistics, and artificial intelligence. The event showcases the latest innovations and solutions shaping the future of energy.
