The Kurdistan Regional Government delegation, headed by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, met today, Thursday, with the head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki.
Barzani confirmed during the meeting, according to a statement by the regional government, that failure to send financial rights to the region made salary recipients face difficult circumstances, noting that the region’s salaries had not been sent for three months, unlike the rest of the regions of Iraq, where salaries are disbursed monthly without delay, and requested from the head of the State of Law Coalition to provide support and cooperation in this regard.
For his part, the head of the State of Law Coalition expressed his readiness for support and cooperation regarding the issue of sending financial rights to the Kurdistan region.
